Vornado Humidifier

Vornado Humidifier offers two great options for whole house humidification in stand-alone units. You don’t hook these up to the furnace, just place them in a living area. They are powerful, yet compact humidifiers and humidify up to 1000-1250 sq ft.If your home is larger than this, you can use this humidifier in the open, common areas for humidification. I have the evaporative unit in the living, dining, kitchen area of my home and really like this one.

Vornado started in the 1940’s as a quality fan company. In 1989, a new company was founded on a signature fan with vortex action. This fan could evenly distribute air throughout an entire room. The company used this technology in its humidifiers to evenly distribute moisture throughout a room.

Vornado uses American engineers and workers to research and build their whole line of products. They are one of the few companies who don’t produce their products in China. While there can be quality that comes from China, I like to support companies who choose to employ Americans, especially if they make a good product, like Vornado does.

Vornado Evaporative Humidifier
This humidifier uses evaporative and vortex fan technology to humidify. Evaporative humidifiers use filters, or wicks, to draw moisture up near the fan, where it evaporates into the air. These are mostly self regulating, as less and less humidity evaporates into the air as it gets more humidified.
