Humidifier, Dehumidifier, air purifier combo

I am looking for an all in one for my house. I have a small ranch home thats 900 square feet. There is a wood stove insert in the house so the air gets dry in the winter. Living in upstate NY the air is humid in the summer so was looking for one machine to do it all. Any options or advice would be appreciated.

Hi Shane,
Unfortunately because the technology is quite different for each of these units, there is not a good all in one humidifier, dehumidifier and air purifier combo. You have a common problem where it is humid in the summer and then when the forced air heat goes through your house in the winter, it dries out.

So, yes each of these can be beneficial to you. Your air conditioner will act as a dehumidifier in the summer, but if you don't use it too often, do invest in a dehumidifier!
Humidifiers are actually quite inexpensive. I recommend the Vornado humidifier overall. As for an air purifier, just make sure it has a HEPA filter. It might seem like having all three is a bit much, but they are so worth it for your health as the air we breathe matters so much. Best to you,
