On the negative side, some report a lot of white dust. This happens with any ultrasonic machine, so you need to buy a demineralization cartridge or use distilled water to reduce the white dust. Also, it is great that it can operate up to 24 hours per filling when on low. When it’s being used 24 hours a day, it’s no fun to refill these units more than once a day. Because it is quiet, this could be a good unit for the bedroom.
