heating for a basement

Not enough heat comes downstairs in the basement and it is always cold. What would you recommend for an all in one heater that is energy efficient, heats the room evenly and has some mist too?

Thanks in advance,
Karen

Heater with a Humidifier
by: Lisa- site expert

Hi,
Great question. I am thinking of the same as it gets colder. How to heat the cold basement without it getting too dry?
Well, for just a good heater, I'd recommend the Vornado heaters. They propel the heat around the space with a great fan technology. But, you'd also need a humidifier with this option.
I did find a heater with an option for a humidifier. Supentown ceramic heater with humidifier. It gets pretty good ratings by consumers, above average and has a washable filter for the humidifier. The price was under $70 for what I found, so this seems like a good option. Best luck staying warm this winter! Let me know how you like this heater/humidifier if you get it! Thanks.
